Dear Jupiter. V Quench — cream being blended on the back of a hand from a low viewpoint.

Moisturiser Feeling Too Light? Check Your Blend Before Adding More.

Quench has a daily blend and a richer-feeling option. The difference is in the cream-to-gel proportion.

Some days, your usual moisturising step feels just right. On others, you want a richer texture. The automatic response is often another scoop or another product. With V Quench, it is worth checking the blend first.

The jar contains two textures: blue niacinamide cream capsules and the gel around them. Quench’s supplier guide offers two ways to combine those textures, giving you a simple daily or richer-feeling choice.

The useful detail is the order of the numbers: capsule cream first, gel second.

1:1 is the daily starting point

One part capsule cream to one part gel is Quench’s daily blend. Take a small amount with a clean spatula, then combine both parts completely on a clean surface or the back of a clean hand.

Start by noticing how the fully blended texture feels and spreads. There is no need to judge the cream and gel separately when the product is designed to be used as one smooth application.

2:1 changes the feel

When skin feels dry and you want a richer texture, the guide uses two parts capsule cream to one part gel. You are changing the balance of cream and gel, rather than simply doubling the amount spread onto your face.

Blend completely before smoothing a small amount onto clean, intact skin. A richer-feeling blend is still a small, considered application.

Follow your pack directions and your skin’s response. You do not need to keep adjusting the ratio throughout the day or copy someone else’s preference.

Two numbers that are easy to misread

Neither 1:1 nor 2:1 is a niacinamide percentage. The first number describes capsule cream; the second describes gel. Quench’s active percentage is not specified.

Also, a richer texture does not mean you should continue using a product that stings or irritates. Stop if irritation develops, and avoid application to broken or irritated skin.

Keep the formula in its own jar. Mixing Night or another product into Quench to make a new “custom formula” is different from blending the cream and gel already supplied together.

Let one jar cover a texture preference

Quench is a 140 g moisturiser with a niacinamide-led ingredient story. The daily and richer options give the ritual a clear structure without requiring a shelf full of different textures.

Patch test before regular use and introduce new skincare one product at a time. Keep your morning sunscreen as its own final step.
